*Erin Andrews probably won't be there. Or will she?You are cordially invited to join us for the first official BRN Husker Pregame Party. We'll be gathering at Brewsky's Food and Spirits at 201 N 8th Street in the Lincoln Haymarket to attend to proper pregame preparation.
There will be special guest appearances by Erin Andrews*, Steve Hanway, Darren Carlson, Brandon Vogel and myself. We'll be playing a little Husker trivia, giving away a couple books by Jason Peter and Mike Minter and everyone will leave with a pocket guide in hand.
Out-of-towners, don't sweat. We've got something planned for you too.
Stop by any time between 3:00 and kickoff. We'll be the ones wearing the cool Husker shirts. Leave a comment or send me an email (jason@bigrednetwork.com) if you're coming so we can plan accordingly.
If you can't make it to Lincoln, at least try to make it to your computer. We'll be doing a bit of live blogging before the game and will try to hook up some live video. You'll be able to join us in a virtual toast from the comfort of your home.

Jason and gang, That's cool! I wish my team did stuff like that. I'd love to be there but have to work and i'll keep an ear open for the next pre game party. I want to meet you "clowns". Having a retail job and being a member of the Kansas Air National Guard eat up most of my Saturdays. Have a great time and beat Va Tech.

Now I know what a "cool" Husker shirtt is. Any way you can donate 50% to the athletic dept?? I just read the story of the "contract buyouts" of Callahan and Pederson. Ouch!!!! Just kiddin...

OU, in fact we already donate 5% of our t-shirt proceeds to NU. But, you guys are going to have to step up and buy some more shirts if we're going to put a dent in those contract buy-outs. :)

Then, when you get them all dirty and oil-covered, they will look like the crimson you love so much.
That is the difference between scarlet and crimson - dirt.
