Weather forecast for Nebraska vs. Texas A&M

I am looking forward to a great game Saturday in College Station and an even better football forecast. Thunderstorms are possible both Friday and Sunday but game day will feature immaculate weather for the third straight week.

Mostly sunny skies will greet the Huskers to hostile Kyle Field -- home of the 12th Man. Temperatures will be in the low 70s at kickoff, dropping to the mid 60s by the game's end. Wind will be out of the North at 10 to 20 mph early in the day, switching to the east and relaxing as the day moves on.

Three straight Saturday's of fantastic fall weather makes a person -- especially a meteorologist -- wonder if Old Man Winter will make a harsh return. Long range forecast guidance suggests that teeter totter weather will continue in the Heartland. It will be interesting to see whether we are in a warm spell or cold spell by the time the Colorado game comes around.
