On “Colin Cowherd’s radio program this morning, he claims that OU and NU are mediocre (mediocrity)teams and no where near what they “were”. Now, I have had my comments, on this website, about mediority before and it stings to think that the national media (one member, anyway) thinks that the Big 12 is the “Baylor” of all the conferences. I understand that alot of the media has a love affair with the PAC-10 but we are not getting any credit as a viable conference, it seems. The Big 12 needs to get wired tight and start making a difference when it comes to beating ranked teams. Say what you want about playing lesser talent teams for money and show but playing Arkansas St. and Utah St. is not going to cut it, in my mind. When it comes to bowl games alot of times the Big 12 doesn’t show up. We (as a league) should think about booting Baylor from the Big 12. With very few exceptions, they are a “gimme” on any years schedule. All Baylor is good for is to get their split of conference bowl $. What a disgrace.
