HUGE PICK UP.. With Him and FInin our Depth on the Oline got better right away.. I still think that even if both of those guys get into the rotation , NU is still going to want at least one of these Freshman in the mix as well.. Because after next year almost all spots on the line are up for grabs and their backups..

Heres to hoping we hold on too HAnnon and add Johnson yet too.. And having Kenvel on campus is a huge plus.. !!

Sweet another pick up from a community college. We are well on are way to beating Wyoming now. Last year it was Green transfering to TCU and now Heard is leaving. What is it going to take for you people to open your eyes and see that Bo and company are destroying Husker football. Just look at Bo’s track reacord (his meltdown at Texas A@M, He trash talks Bill Snyder to the media blaming him for running up the score cause his defence sucked ass,  he keeps losing quality players, and he keeps losing the big games do to a weak defence and moronic play calling on offense. Call me a negitive guy if you want, but i’m just seeing reality, and the reality is next year will be more of the same, and probably a little worse.

We lost Green and Heard because they wanted more carries.. We already had backs that were taking those carries ( Its called depth, thats a good thing) .. Is losing Braylon a good thing , no , but he wanted carries last year that we couldnt give him..

The Huskers are already a joke in the BIG. Look forward to geting beat to teams like the Gophers and Hawkeyes in the next few years cause its gona happen.

Admiral, that was two years ago, while he was only in his 3rd year as head coach, are you really going to hold that over him forever?  We have recruits telling the media the reason that they picked NU is because of Bo, and his style of coaching.  Someday, all the neigh-sayers are going to have to get over the past.
What exactly tells you that this coming season is going to be so horrible?  NU has a great chance of reaching Indy again.  Plus, we still have no idea who all will step up this spring.  In the bowl game, there was a young kid that was going in and playing DE, he looked pretty sharp then, I wonder how he will be after this spring.
Losing players in today’s world is common.  We had a really stacked backfield, and I am surprised that we have kept them all this long.  I don’t like losing Heard, but if he can get more playing time then good luck to him.  We still have a lot of good running backs.
Stop being negative, and look at the positive side.  There are few colleges that have as many wins as we have had over the last 5 years.  I would love to see us bring home a championship; so much that I traveled to Indy to watch us get destroyed.  But I still had positive inside me to go to the bowl game and watched that team play their @$$ off against a great team in Georgia.

In case you haven’t noticed in the last two years we have beat everyteam in the Big Ten that we have played in at least one of our meetings.. ( havent beat Indiana, Purdue, or illinois yet because we havent played them yet) ..

Are we where we want to be yet, no , but we are getting there..

twato the huskers arent in the big 12. They havnt been for two years now, and one bad game. Did you not watch the same season and team i did. The huskers were very lucky not to have a 6 loss season. When a program loses guys like Green and Heard there are major internal problems. Bo didnt evan know Heard was leaving, and i dont blame Heard for leaving. He should have been used more along with Cross.

The Huskers should not have evan been in big ten title game, and i think they more then proved that in a big way.

Yeah… nevermind that Green and Heard were both essentially in the same recruiting class as Abdullah and had, for all intents and purposes, realized that they would never be the “featured” back in their stays in Lincoln.

I’d love to know where you think all of these magical carries are supposed to come from. It wasn’t like they were running Abdullah 30 times per game, and with him and a healthy Rex in the mix… did you expect the 3rd and 4th string guys to be getting 10 carriers per game?

Check out a Roster from schools such as Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan , LSU and tell me that they to dont have kids leaving the program that are promising.. They leave because they realize that playing time will not come as easy to them and they go.. It happens when you have good depth at positions..

How is it that a school such as Alabama can sign 27-30 recruits a year and still maintain them all on scholarhship.. They cant.. Grow up and do your homework..

As for almost losing 6 games, they didnt .. Do they not get any credit for that ??

Also funny how you state we are no longer in the Big Twelve, but in your arguements for how the program are going down you stated that AM game and Kansas State as examples.. If you cant see growth in the program since then you are crazy..

No one here is saying that we are back to the Osborne days but you cant burn a city to the ground (Callahan years) and rebuild it too its greatest days in a short time.. It took the Great Osborne 20 years to get his title, and he was always thrown under the bus from idiots like you for not winning the big game then.. The landscape of college football has changed drastically since then..

But not only do you mock the coach of the school you act to care about ( I really think hes a Misery fan or something) you mock kids that have done nothing to this program but sign on to make it better.. ??

These kids have busted their butts to get offers to schools all over the country and then decide to join us and you mock them.. Does it make you feel like a better man ?? A true man dosnt be little others to make himself feel stronger..  He builds others up..

Kids getting offers from the likes of coachig staffs at Florida State,, Oklahoma, OSU, Nebraska , etc etc shouldnt have to be judged by someone such as yourself..

AS for Heard , I agree it would have been nice to see him and Cross get more carries.. But it would have been nice to see Rex or Abdullah or any of our recievers get more touches as well… We have talent, and a great problem in trying to find ways to get them all as many touches as we can to win games..

Stop being a couch coach unless you are good enough to be a real coach and get paid by one of these Universities.. Am I saying dont leave your opinion , no .. Thats what these sites are for.. It was not my intent to mock any players. Im sorry if it came out like that. I never claimed to be a college football player. I did how ever wrestle in college. I nerver claimed to be a football coach. I am however an mma coach at a gym, and i dont really think i want to be a Husker fan anymore. I would like to be but i find it hard to support a program that supports a coach that would trash talk one of the nations best to the media. Snyder is in the ranks of coaches with TO, and i dont think i want to support a program that accepts the behavior of a head coach who rants and raves at his players when they do something wrong instead of doing his job and (COACH) them so that his guys dont make mistakes, and im tired of buying into the same bs year after year, and its probably not gona matter who the program pics up cause they dont have a coach that will get them to the next level.
