What an exciting week. It was like a dream over the weekend after that come from behind win against Missouri, and then everyone woke up on Monday and realized that there's a game to play on Saturday against another tough opponent. Texas Tech will be rolling into town with a quarterback controversy that (hopefully) distracts them from their duties on the field. Of course, I hope the biggest distraction is more a force of disruption - Ndamukong Suh.

Suh for Heisman, or at Least Lombardi » As Husker fans all over the nation firebomb every online poll related to the Heisman, Ndamukong Suh is on the list as a Lombardi semi-finalist. Arguably the best defensive tackle in the country, the national recognition is great to see for the Suh. But let's not forget about Jared Crick - he's pretty awesome too.

Who emerges from the stable? » As Roy Helu, Jr. has been getting most of the carries, it appears he's been getting most of the wear and tear as the starting running back. He's nursing some sort of shoulder injury, but it apparently won't keep him from starting. Rex Burkhead's foot injury, however, will likely keep him out for weeks. So who steps up? Well there are plenty of options (no pun intended). It's likely not a matter of who runs the best, but who can pass block and protect, or who can be that pressure valve a quarterback needs on a late blitz or excellent down field coverage.

Red Raiders bring unique coaching, passing attack » Ok, so Mike Leach is a little strange, and it's hard to dispute that. But the fact is he wins games. How to stop them? Brandon's suggestions seem as good as any. The coaching staff has the fun job of preparing for one of two slightly different touchdown happy, yardage crazy quarterbacks, and a Godzilla-sized offensive lineman. I'm just glad to hear that Coach Bo Pelini has been keeping his players on task this week, focusing the thoughts on Texas Tech and away from the Missouri win.
