Win Tickets to the Nebraska Spring Game

The Husker spring game is officially sold out. Who needs two?
We have six extra tickets, but we're not selling. We're giving them away to our loyal readers.
Sure, you can buy tickets online for anywhere from $40 to $150 each. But, why not try to win them? Read on for details.
There are three ways to enter.
- Subscribe to our email newsletter. Every week or so, we send out a summary of the latest Husker news. It's a great way to stay informed if you don't have time to read every single article that comes out during the week. (If you're already a subscriber, you're already entered in this contest.)
- Follow us on Twitter. If you're a Twitter user and a news junkie, follow us and we'll send you links to Husker stories that we think are interesting. (If you're already following us, you're already entered in this contest.)
- Leave a comment on this site. Every time you leave a comment anywhere on this site between now and Wednesday, April 16th you're entered to win. (Leave three comments and you're entered three times.) But make your comments authentic. If we think you're gaming the system to try and get more entries, we'll throw them out.
At 5:00 PM Central on Wednesday, April 16th, we will tally up all of the newsletter subscribers, Twitter followers and comment droppers and randomly pick three people who will each get two tickets to the Spring Game.
These are great tickets too. They are in the East Stadium at the 40 yard line in row B. You'll be about two rows up from the sideline. If you wear your jersey, Bo might mistake you for a player and put you in the game!
OK, maybe not. But, they're good seats and it's easy to enter.
If you're out of state or know you can't go to the game, enter anyway. We'll send you one of our Husker t-shirts instead.

I've been meaning to send a note to you and let you know how much I enjoy reading this site. I check out a number of Husker-related blogs and this is one of the best when it comes to Husker sports. Good stuff...keep up the good work.

While I'd love to come, living in florida makes that kinda hard. That said, I'll be there when sCUm comes to town. First game since I was a kid in the mid 90's.

Wow! Is there any way that the winner could get his/her fuel financed throgh BRN, too? I have a 360 mile trek to get "Home".
Oh well, The Weather Channel isn't looking good enough for a two wheel journey. If my name is drawn, find a couple of Marines to take. (Any other branch would be acceptable, I just have a son who was in the Corps.)

has something changed? i went to the spring game last year and you just found seats you didnt get them in advance you either spend alot of time sitting outside of the gate or... you get some nosebleed seat which is fine cause its still a husker game

What an opportunity. Really appreciate your site and comments. After living away from Nebraska for a decade the draw of the Huskers never seems to go away. We have even found die hard fans that have never been to the state before. Also, having a daughter at UNL in an odd sort of way by keeping up on football shortens the distance.

This is awesome guys. Since I am in Austin it is difficult to get to the games and certainly tough to get to the spring game but if I WIN tickets my wife has to let me go right?

Would love to be at the Spring game but trip from Nashville not likely to happen. Good news is I will be in Lubbock in October to watch the Huskers beat the Red Raiders to go 6-0. Go Big Red!!

What a great idea. I find it sad that people try to sell these for more then their face value. This should be something we're all given the chance to enjoy..GO BIG RED!

Our three winners have been randomly chosen from all of the comments, subscribers and Twitterers. I emailed them tonight and will make an announcement as soon as I hear back from them.
If I don't hear from them by noon Friday, I'll be looking for someone else who can use the tickets. (I'd hate for them to go to waste.)
