Most teams that have consistent success feel like they know why. While Kansas State is probably not as successful as they’d like to be just yet, they do appear poised to become bowl-eligible for the second straight year after a two year absence from bowl competition.
And if you were to point to a single factor that has brought about this success, every Wildcat player, coach, and fan would likely tell you the same thing. It’s the power towels. That’s right. And this video says it all:
Come on, you didn’t think we could go this whole week without showing this one, did you?

Does Nebraska Football still have Husker Hankyies? I bought one at the Oklahoma/Nebraska game in 1987 Game of the Century 2. C'mon don't tell me that you didn't have a cheezey video about it back then complete with players wearing leg warmers. IF not,this season would be a great time to bring the "hanky" back. WAAAAAAAAHHHH snif snif snif.

We did have a towel as I recall... BACK IN THE EARLY 90's when that sort of thing was innovative and cool.
No one outside of Manhattan would have noticed your power towels if it wasn't for that promo video that looks like it was filmed in the 80's.
Video killed the towel's power.

Nebraska needs a towel, when they aren't waving it they can use it for a crying towel. Please K-State...leave something for us to stomp on.....It will be our turn to DOMINATE the "little pinks" on T-Day weekend!!!!

I forget how classy Colorado fans are. Yet every year about this time they come out of the woodwork!
Boy it will really be embarassing if Nebraska beats K-State and/or Colorado this year..
College Football teams have their ups and downs, but one thing is for certain, the fans of these teams never change.

The power towel is the *funniest* thing about this game, not the most interesting.
Personally, I'm still holding out hope that NU can cram it down KSU's collective pie hole on Senior Day.
KSU is the team I like least in the Big 12, by a wide margin. I have my reasons for that. And even if I didn't have my reasons, I'd still want and believe that NU can crush KSU.
After all...didn't ISU beat them last week?

WOW! I am still LMAO. Did you see the scrawny, little legs on that thing. I'm not sure if that was a guy or a girl in a kitty cat suit. I thought the towel thing was dead. Maybe KSU was dormant for so long that they still think it's the 80's. I wonder if they are going to pump in music too during the game ie: Indianapolis Colts. Isn't the game in Lincoln? How will towel waving help them?
