Is KU Really That Good?
One of the many great lines produced by “The Simpsons” is when Principal Skinner gives a speech as he receives an award and says something along the lines of “you know you’re good, but are you ‘plaque good’?” The Jayhawks are definitely good enough to walk away with the Big 12 North – and that’s “plaque good”.
Their remaining games are home against Nebraska (a likely win), at Oklahoma State (sort of an unimportant game at this point, really), a home game against Iowa State (another almost sure win), and what appears to be the deciding game on a neutral site against Missouri (a toss-up at this point). With both Texas A&M and Kansas State remaining for the Tigers, it’s possible the Jayhawks could wrap up the North before even having to play Missouri.
But that’s where the music stops. The Jayhawks will likely be the underdog to the Sooners (the likely South champion). Both the history of the Big 12 championship game and OU’s tendency to win the conference only in even-numbered years makes you think KU would have a chance. But the betting public would say take Oklahoma.
If the Jayhawks then snuck into a BCS game, it’s hard to imagine them as the favorite there either. So they may not be conference champion or BCS bowl champion good, but still with their combination of a stout defense and an efficient offense they seem competitive with just about anyone. And that’s better than about 10 other teams in the Big 12 right now.

You know....they've won all of their games. I don't care who you are or who you play, that's a pretty good thing to be at this time of year.
I know it's a different year and a different team, but people didn't think Boise St. was that good last year.

49 points in the first half? Yea, Kansas is that good. Callahan and Co., is making Nebraska known for it's girls volleyball. Dismal!
