If you could steal another coach at any level (head, assistant, etc.) from another school, who would it be and why?
Bob Stoops - He's getting it done in the Big 12 year-in and year-out. I think a guy like Pete Carroll might struggle without the wealth of talent that LA guarantees, but Stoops engineered a nice turnaround at OU which is what Nebraska needs too. The added plus is he'd no longer be at OU.
What two teams will play for the Big XII Championship and why?
Oklahoma in the South and Kansas in the North. I can't believe I said "Kansas" but at this point there's only Missouri in the way.
What is the best bowl game your team has a realistic shot at and, if your team has a shot, who would you like to play in said bowl?
Independence Bowl? Whatever the weakest bowl is, that would be Nebraska's destination. The opponent probably wouldn't matter because they'd suck too.
If given the opportunity, would you keep the Big XII status quo or kick out a team and go to a Big 10-style conference play?
You could drop Baylor and not notice. You could probably drop Iowa State too. Drop them both and it could be like the PAC 10 where every team plays everybody and you don't need a conference championship game.

Stoops would NEVER go to Nebraska. You see, there is this thing called integrity. Besides, he would never fit in. He doesn't know any "throat slashing" gestures or how to call the long time rival "f'n hillbilly's, flip off a crowd, let his players knock out opposing fans... I'm sure there are more examples. You know, when all of these things were going on at NU, you all still cheered your coach and until recently, really STILL stood behind your AD. That's not "classy". Never was and never will be. Funny how people seemed to "ignore" these things over the years. Good luck with Dr. Tom, because now you've drug him and his clean personna into this quagmire.

What happened to you recently OU? It wasn't too long ago that you were really supportive of NU, and now all you seem to be doing is bashing NU and their fans. I'm not whining, I can take your criticism, but if we did something or said something that upset you, I apologize.
Besides you should take this as a compliment, but really who else could it be, Bob Stoops has all the things that schools and fans should want.

Guy. No sir, No one has. I am an admitted "closet" Nebraska fan. For years I claimed to "hate" NU. Don't think I'm the only one, either. When you find yourself watching Nebraska on TV every chance it's not because you hate them it's because you are intrigued by them. This whole thing has got me so pissed. I can't understand why anyone would think that firing only Peterson would make any real diff when the real big problem is Coach C. I have utmost respect for TO but can he really bring the Huskers back? I'm not ready for NU to be mediocre because I feed off the competition between OU-NU. It's almost scary to think that NU will or could never be as dominate as they were. I say things quickly and should have thought my comments out a bit more before posting but that's just me. I consider any of the bloggers as people I would sit down and watch a game with. I know people have their own opinions. Once again, I apologise for my comments. It WAS hypothetical.
