McKeon: “It’s No Fun Being Outplayed by Dillard”
From time to time, the Big Red Network will publish “Onion”-style satire. We apologize in advance to anyone we may offend, it's all meant as harmless fun. We can assure you, the reader, that no animals were harmed in assembling this piece.
Corey McKeon vented to the media this week. "You're a linebacker. It's supposed to be fun," McKeon said. "You say 'linebacker,' and all people look at is the tackling. They don't care about anything else.”
"It really bothers me for people to point the finger at me," McKeon said. "All this garbage on Facebook and on the Internet and all the blogs, it's garbage."
"I’m a third-year starter and people are looking at it like I haven’t played," McKeon said. "They're looking at me like I’m Chad Sievers, like it’s 2004."
Coach Callahan was less than surprised by the remarks. “It’s hardly uncommon for a player to be uncomfortable when he’s gotten off to a bad start and his back-up has played well.”
“So what if he has more tackles despite playing fewer snaps” McKeon added, “I caught that interception the Wake Forest quarterback threw right to me. But no one seems to remember that.”

i think mr. mckeon needs to get his head on straight, and start playing football instead of whining, and having a pitty party.

I think McKeon should sit this one out and have his mommy hand feed him some chicken during the game. After that, keep his mouth shut and root Dillard on 'cause that's who he's gonna be watching from the sidelines from here on out.
