Blogpoll Ballot - Week 3
Here is the Big Red Network ballot for the college football top 25 poll at M Go Blog.
This will probably be the final week that we can keep out teams with a loss. More and more undefeated teams will fall. For those who think it’s unfair to Nebraska, just look at some of the teams left in the rankings. The Huskers will play Missouri, Texas A&M, Texas, and if all goes well Oklahoma. So they have every chance to finish at the top if they run the table. But if you require other teams to earn their spot then you have to do the same with Nebraska. So for at least one week, they don’t make the cut.
1 LSU
2 USC
3 Florida
4 Oklahoma
5 West Virginia
6 Penn State
7 Boston College
8 California
9 Ohio State
10 Rutgers
11 Texas
12 Wisconsin
13 South Carolina
14 Oregon
15 Alabama
16 Hawaii
17 Clemson
18 Kentucky
19 South Florida
20 Texas A&M
21 Missouri

Your top 5 look pretty good, though I'd put Cal in the 5 spot with WV at 6. PSU is way overrated, I mean c'mon! They are NOT top 10 material, mark my words. Nor is BC a top 10 team, they're like the MO of the ACC. OR Ducks should be about 8 or 9, they're like WV 'Light'. HI is also way too high, they have zero D and didn't they go OT with LA Tech a few weeks back? The rest is a mish mash, but Big Red SHOULD be in there at about 20-22. They lost to the #1-2 team for god's sake. Purdue and MSU should not be in there.
WhatEVER!
The real issue facing Big Red now is what will they affirm at the close of their practices? Up until Sat. night's debacle they've been closing practice in a big group hug and yelling, 'national champs.' Actually, this could still work for them, just insert the words 'women's volleyball' in the middle of that.
Oh yeah!
