Forecast for Husker Spring Game
April showers bring May flowers. But what about April SNOW showers? It means FOOTBALL! It is the middle of April and as any Nebraskan knows: If you don't like the weather, wait a day.
Expected Temperatures on Saturday:
| Morning: | Upper 30s - 40s |
| Kickoff: | About 45 |
| Afternoon: | Upper 40s - 50 |
It appears that light snow could fall overnight Friday night but should move out by 6 AM Saturday morning.
Travel Conditions
Right now travel shouldn't be an issue unless you are traveling in from Northwest Kansas.
That's Brisk Baby
Tailgating will be chilly Saturday morning as temperatures slowly rise through the upper 30s into the 40s. By Kickoff, hopefully we'll see a few peaks of sun as the temperature should be around 45 degrees with winds out of the NE at 5 to 10 mph. By the 2nd half of the game, we'll peak out with temps in the upper 40s, possibly hitting 50 at some point.
Bundle up and enjoy the game before a long 4 1/2 months of no football!

I hope the weather doesn't run off anyone. I sure wanted to fill the stadium and hope we still will. That would be great for not only the recruits, current players, but also the television audience. Nevertheless, me and my boys will be there (their first Spring game).

I'm sure the weather won't help, but I bet we still get 60,000 in the seats. Any guesses? What's the over-under?
Darren and I will be at the game too. If you (or anyone) wants to meet up during or after the game, give me a shout at jason@bigrednetwork.com.
Enjoy the game!
