Where Does OU Rank?
Part of wrapping our minds around what might happen Saturday is understanding who the Huskers will be facing. One way of looking at it is to compare the Sooners with teams the Huskers have already faced.
Defensively, OU appears to be the best team we faced all year. Next best was USC who held Nebraska to ten points in Los Angeles. Offensively, USC, Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma State were all better than OU offensively and Kansas was about the same. Those teams scored 28, 22, 20, 41, and 32 points against Nebraska. In the best scenario, Nebraska might hold the Sooners to 20 points.
Offensively, the Huskers will need to have perhaps their best game of the season in terms of finding ways to score against a good defense. Just as in the Texas and USC games, it will be hard to sustain drives. Rather, the Huskers will more likely score with big plays, so they have to look for those opportunities and be sure to capitalize when they get the chance. So hold the Sooners to 20 points and score on three big plays. Nebraska 21-20 in a classic.

callahan has got to go. how does a coaching staff out coach themselves, tuberville said it best,I stopped calling in alot of plays and just played football and that is what got us the win. that was a jab at callahans idiotic playcalling.subtle , but it was a jab. fake punts, scared to kick a field goal-7 field goal attempts all season.A shuffle pass on third down for a loss to take us out of fg range or was it out of range? i have stuck up for this coaching staff from the get go, no more, they are dumb dumb dumb, i could call a better game on ncaa 2007, a pee wee coach could get a win over callahan with a pee wee playbook simple calls couldve got us wins in all of our 2006 season losses callahan must go!!!!!
