Okay, not really a story for Husker fans but when Arkansas head coach named quarterback Casey Dick the starter for the Capital One Bowl, I couldn’t help myself. Quick aside though, does Nebraska athletic director Steve Pederson get some credit for being high on Nutt? The guy has recruited well and put his team in the SEC championship game and is ranked #12 in the country. I wouldn’t trade Callahan, but I’ll also say that Pederson definitely has an eye for talent. Doc Sadler appears to be another case in point. Merry X-mas everybody!

Heh, I laughed at that one too. Part of me wishes that we had landed Coach Nutt. Imagine all the great headlines that we could have used throughout his career!
Oh, and don't worry about Steve. I enrolled him in a jelly-of-the-month club! That's the gift that keeps on giving. :)
