Hear me now, believe me later
I'm all hopped up on caffeine. So, here is Darren's bold prediction of the week...
Kansas State will open the season 2-3, with wins coming against Florida Atlantic and a close one against Illinois. Then, they will have a three game skid against Marshall, a blowout loss against Louisville, and then losing AT Baylor to open the Big 12 season.
You might also see the reverse outcomes of those Illinois and Marshall games. But, it's still 2-3 to open.
The only way it could be better is if they would open 1-4!
What are your predictions for this season?

Sorry, I said I was hopped up on coffee when I wrote this. But, KSU plays Illinois STATE (Not Illinois) to open the year. I should have known the wildkittens wouldn't open with a Big 10 team. The 1-AA Redbirds are much more their style.
I stand by my prediction, though. KSU will still go 2-3 to open the year. They will win against wimps to open the year, then three straight losses to Marshall, Louisville and Baylor.
